70年代灵魂歌手Major Harris去世 经典情歌永流传

一度参加过the Delfonics合唱团，后来在歌坛成名的灵魂歌手Major Harris，11月9日在故乡维吉尼亚州Richmond去世了（65岁），青少年时的他就在Frankie Lymon's Teenagers与 the Jarmels合唱团唱过，1971年他应邀加入费城的the Delfonics合唱团，顶替Randy Cain的位子， Major Harris在the Delfonics时推出的Tell Me This Is A Dream，虽然只得到86名，但他的歌唱才华让他被Atlantic唱片公司挖角，1975年终于以Love Won't Let Me Wait获得热门排行榜第5名而一曲成名，这首歌在黑人灵魂歌曲排行榜则获得冠军。▲70年代灵魂歌手Major Harris11月9日在故乡维吉尼亚州Richmond去世，享寿65岁。 (图／翻摄自网路。)
