我叫 Pimpassorn,大家可以叫我佩心,我来自泰国曼谷。目前,我是浙大管院PIEGL学生。我的教育之旅很丰富,在这之前,我在新加坡学习了八年,之后才返回泰国攻读生物技术本科。

My name is Pimpassorn, or you can call me Pim. Originate from Bangkok, Thailand, I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Enterprise Management at Zhejiang University. I'm enrolled in the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Global Leadership program, fondly known as PIEGL. My educational journey has spanned across continents; I spent eight years studying in Singapore before returning to Thailand for my undergraduate studies in Biotechnology. Though science initially captivated me, my career took a turn towards the social media realm as a manager at Xiaomi Thailand, reflecting my inclination towards people-centric roles.

My first impression of the management institute at Zhejiang University was nothing short of impressive. The spacious environment is not only conducive to studying but also inspires entrepreneurial thinking. The state-of-the-art facilities, including the surprising addition of a bidet in the restrooms, underscore the school's international standard and attention to detail. Moreover, I was fascinated by the diverse range of programs offered, from EMBA and MBA to various specialized courses, highlighting the institute's comprehensive approach to management education.

在入学前,我已有五年工作经验,工作中我意识到提升管理技能是非常必要的,于是我来到了浙大管院。其综合课程将理论与现实应用无缝融合,项目的全球视角及丰富内容令我产生共鸣,给我提供了拓展视野的绝佳机会。

PIEGL课程既注重理论也注重实践,项目设置非常有趣,在现实生活中也更具实用性。我最喜欢课程中的案例研究和互动课堂,可以帮助我将实践经验与学术理论联系起来。

成为管院人是我人生中难忘的经历。在管院的学习让我具备了更高的国际视野,丰富了我对企业管理的理解。我很高兴能为在“浙”里学习。

With five years of work experience under my belt, I felt the need to augment my skills in management. This drove me to Zhejiang University's Enterprise Management program. I was drawn to its comprehensive curriculum, which seamlessly blends theory with real-world applications. The program's global perspective and rich content resonated with me, offering a perfect opportunity to expand my horizons.

PIEGL course focus more on general and practical settings. The projects are interesting but I believe could be more practical in real-life setting. I particularly relished the case studies and interactive classroom sessions, where I could effortlessly relate my professional experiences to academic learning.

Being part of SOM ZJU has been a rewarding journey, allowing me to embrace global diversity and enriching my understanding of enterprise management. I'm excited to contribute to and learn from this vibrant community.

作为留学生,你如何快速融入集体?

在浙大管院结交新朋友并融入集体生活,对我来说是一个丰富多彩、极具多元多样性的经历。

在我的班级里,同学们来自如印度尼西亚、印度、意大利、摩洛哥、瓦努阿图、哥伦比亚等各个国家。他们在帮助我适应大学环境方面发挥了重要作用。我们共同面对挑战,结成了超越课堂范围的深厚友谊。我们一起从错误中学习,然后共同庆祝属于我们的每一个阶段性成功。

此外,我融入集体的另一个途径是参与俱乐部和课外活动。无论是参加野餐日活动、参与合唱团、在汉语角进行语言练习,还是参加篮球比赛,这些活动都让我结识了很多志同道合的同龄人,我们互相学习、一同玩耍并分享彼此的难忘经历。

我喜欢运动,喜欢记录生活,将这些爱好融入我的日常生活中确实需要良好的时间管理能力。然而,它们给我的生活带来的快乐和满足感,增强了我的校园体验幸福感,丰富了我的大学经历。

Making new friends and integrating into group life at Zhejiang University has been an enriching and multifaceted experience for me.

My classmates are all from various countries. Indonesia, India, Italy, Morroco, Vanuatu, Colombia. They have been instrumental in helping me acclimate to the university environment. We bonded over shared challenges and triumphs, forming strong friendships that transcended the classroom walls. Together, we navigated the intricacies of student life in China, learning from our mistakes and celebrating our successes as a cohesive unit.

One of the avenues through which I fostered connections was by actively participating in clubs and extracurricular activities. Whether it was joining the picnic day events, harmonizing in the choir clubs, engaging in language practice at the Chinese corner, or competing in basketball competitions, these activities offered fantastic opportunities to meet like-minded peers and share memorable experiences.

I enjoy sports and recording my life. Incorporating these hobbies into my daily routine has been a balancing act, requiring careful time management and prioritization. However, the joy and fulfillment they bring to my life make the effort well worth it, enhancing my overall well-being and enriching my university experience.

临近毕业之际,我希望自己能够成为一个全面发展,具备创业技能、创新思维的人。在管院的学习助我掌握管理知识,在不同领域中突破、创新。

我希望成为一个不仅具备专业管理技能,并且能够对周围的人产生积极影响的领导者,为我的企业、为家乡做出贡献。

As I approach graduation, my aspirations have evolved. I aspire to become a well-rounded individual equipped with entrepreneurial skills, discipline, and empathy.

The study in ZJU helps to equip me with knowledge on management and better understanding of different fields and innovation in those areas. I envision myself leading with strength and resilience, capable of navigating through life's ups and downs with grace. Yet, at the core of my leadership style, I hope to remain grounded and approachable.

Upon graduating from Zhejiang University, I hope to emerge as a leader who not only excels professionally but also makes a positive impact on those around me. 上学期,我们学习了国际商务、市场营销、电子商务和家族企业等课程。这学期,我们还将学习许多与企业管理相关的科目,如组织行为学、全球领导力和人力资源管理学等。

我一直都很关注中俄国际合作领域工作和机遇,我相信,在管理学院学到的知识和技能,将有助于我更好地了解中国文化并助力我完成自己的职业梦想。

Upon arriving at Zhejiang University, I was struck by the sheer magnificence of the institution and its state-of-the-art facilities. Our campus offers a serene environment conducive to both learning and leisure, boasting breathtaking natural landscapes and modern amenities. The School of Management, in particular, left a lasting impression with its well-equipped facilities and aesthetically pleasing architecture, fostering an environment primed for academic excellence.

Last semester, we studied international business, marketing, e-commerce, and family businesses. This semester, we will also study many subjects related to enterprise management, such as organizational behavior, global leadership, and human resource management.

I have always been very concerned about the work and opportunities in the field of international cooperation between China and Russia. I believe that the knowledge and skills I have learned in the School of Management will help me better understand China and contribute to my future career dreams.

In my class, there are many students from different cultures and backgrounds. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we bonded over shared interests and mutual respect, quickly forming a tight-knit community. Beyond the confines of the classroom, we engage in various extracurricular activities and collaborative projects, fostering camaraderie and teamwork.

你有哪些课余爱好?

在学术之外,我有很多爱好,这些爱好丰富了我的个人和学术生活。

舞蹈,为自我表达和情感释放提供了一个创造性的出口。参与浙江大学中国传统舞蹈俱乐部,不仅让我沉浸在对舞蹈的热爱中,而且提高了我的语言技能,加深了我对中国文化的理解。此外,我还通过国际学生会等组织积极参与志愿者工作和课外活动,培养自己在“浙”里的归属感和团体意识。

我努力在学术追求和课外活动之间保持平衡。虽然有时可能也会有些压力,但我觉得这是自我提升的催化剂。

Outside of academia, I immerse myself in a myriad of hobbies that enrich both my personal and academic life. Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine, providing a creative outlet for self-expression and emotional release. As a member of the "亦心" Chinese traditional dance club, I not only indulge in my love for dance but also sharpen my language skills and deepen my understanding of Chinese culture. Additionally, I am actively involved in volunteer work and extracurricular activities through organizations like the International Student Union, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

I try to maintain a balance between academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. While the pressure may be palpable at times, I am committed to embracing it as a catalyst for self-improvement and resilience.

请简单介绍一下你自己

MOEKI NEMOTO

我从日本来到浙江大学学习,专业是会计管理。目前,已经完成课程,等待毕业,在日本鹿儿岛国际大学经济学院担任讲师。

我曾发表了两篇SSCI论文和多篇日语文章,曾获得了浙江大学学术科研优秀奖及“日本医疗平衡计分卡研究学会奖”等奖项。

I came to study at Zhejiang University from Japan, specializing in management accounting management. I entered SOM in September 2020 and have completed all courses except my dissertation. Therefore, I still have to submit and review my dissertation. My undergraduate and master's degrees are from Nihon University in Japan. Since April 2024, I have been working as a lecturer (tenured faculty position) at the Faculty of Economics, International University of Kagoshima in Japan.

I have published two SSCI papers and numerous articles in Japanese, the Excellence in Academic Research Award from Zhejiang University in January 2024,the "Japan Association for Healthcare Balanced Scorecard Studies Award (Academic Award)" in October 2022.

我是在2019年申请浙江大学的,那时我就坚信这是以一所一流的国际化高校。在管院的课程学子中,我认识了很多发表过高质量研究成果的管院老师,博士课程设置也可以很好的帮助我们逐梦科研。

When I applied to Zhejiang University in 2019, my first impression was that it was an excellent university with the potential to continue to rise in the world rankings. I was extremely overwhelmed by the high level of SOM's faculty, many of whom have international research accomplishments. The doctoral coursework was organized with a curriculum designed to prepare students to present their papers.

浙大管院的课程为你带来了哪些收获?

在管院的学习为我带来了极大帮助。首先,我学会了如何撰写论文,也进一步了解了研究方法。其次,管院许多教授都拥有海外背景,也发表过极具国际前瞻性的研究成果。因此,在管院的学习让我收获了更多专业知识,也让我更具国际视野。

Learning at SOM helped me in three main ways. First, I was able to learn how to write papers and research methodology for publication in WoS-registered journals. Second, many of the professors at SOM have studied abroad and have a wealth of international research achievements. Therefore, by studying at SOM, I was able to gain knowledge and a sense of global standards.

学习之外,你的留学生活是怎样的?

我在管院认识了很多优秀的老师们、同学们。大家都很体谅我“蹩脚”的中文。通过学习生活,我也意识到合作至关重要。

在学习之外,我还喜欢和朋友们出去吃饭。也喜欢看中国电视剧,比如《三国演义》及其他极具中国文化的电视剧。中国是一个幅员辽阔的国家,有许多风景名胜。课余时间,我也会出去走走,除了杭州,我还去了青岛和无锡游玩。

My classmates who were on the same team in class were very serious and excellent. In addition, the teacher and my classmates were considerate of my poor Chinese. As an internatinal student, I believe that the cooperation of those around you is the key to a smooth life.

Outside of studying, I enjoyed going out to eat with my friends. Another hobby of mine was watching Chinese dramas such as "The Three Kingdoms" and other Chinese dramas. China is a huge country with many scenic spots. Besides Hangzhou, I also traveled to Qingdao and Wuxi.

目前,我已就职于日本一所大学。在我申请教职的面试中,浙大管院的经历为我带来了极大的助力。面试官不仅赞扬了我的科学成果,也对浙大管院有着高度评价。这让我更加确信,我在管院的学习对我人生发展有益。

Currently, I already work for a Japanese university. To get this job, Zhejiang University definitely has a big influence. I will tell you what happened during the recruitment interview to explain why. The interviewer not only praised my international research achievements, but also highly praised the School of Management at Zhejiang University. I am convinced that my studies at SOM have been beneficial.
