暇步士“白菜价”大促,母公司此前称将保持其“中高端定位”

红星资本局4月14日消息,服饰品牌暇步士(Hush Puppies)多家门店近日进行的1-3折清仓活动,引发消费者关注。据媒体报道,4月11日至12日,暇步士多家服装店出现大促活动,有消费者一次性就买了2万多元的服装,卖区甚至出现排队情况。

4月14日,红星资本局走访了4家暇步士商场店并致电了1家暇步士门店,各门店均告诉红星资本局,前段时间有1至3折的清仓活动,不过目前活动已结束。

有店员向红星资本局表示是因为“老板换了”所以进行了大促,也有店员称是因为要清库存。

红星资本局注意到,今年1月,“童装大王”嘉曼服饰(301276.SZ)发布公告称,已以5880万美元完成对暇步士在中国的品牌资产的收购。

据了解,暇步士于1997年进入中国市场,定位中高端消费者,不同品类有不同的代理商。嘉曼服饰此前是暇步士童装的代理商,而暇步士鞋类代理商则为百丽时尚。

虽然嘉曼服饰成了暇步士的新主,但其并未有全品类收回自营的公开表述。

在今年2月26日的投资者关系活动记录表中,嘉曼服饰称,将“会以授权的模式与各合作伙伴共同做大品牌价值”。

同时,嘉曼服饰对暇步士的门店计划是“会选择在流量大、位置佳的商圈开设形象门店”,未来定位是“希望与各品类授权商一起保持聚焦中高端的品牌定位”。

对于清库存的原因,一位暇步士店员告诉红星资本局:“近三年压了不少货,男装库存更多,打折的都是以前的货。”

红星资本局采访嘉曼服饰暇步士大促原因是否与库存有关、对该品牌未来的计划是什么,截至发稿暂无回应。

红星资本局注意到,嘉曼服饰在收购暇步士之前的几年存货已在逐渐上升,从2018年年末的2.66亿元上升至2022年年末的4.49亿元。2023年9月30日,嘉曼服饰的存货增长至5.08亿元,其解释称:“三季度末库存余额较大主要原因为货值较高的秋冬产品入库所致。”

如果暇步士非童装服饰品类库存高企的话,嘉曼服饰将整个品牌收购后确需清理库存,以免进一步影响上市公司的存货数据。
