走出婚姻情伤 乡村歌后Jeannie C. Riley再婚

以演唱Harper Valley P.T.A.一曲成名的乡村歌后Jeannie C. Riley，8月19日礼拜天在田纳西州Franklin再婚了，新郎是他儿时的玩伴Billy Stames。1968年由Tom T. Hall写的 Harper Valley P.T.A.是一首有趣的歌，故事是说单身的Johnson太太的女儿从学校带回家一张字条，上头写得是家长会对她穿迷你裙、和男人出游及其他很多行为不满， Johnson太太气得跑到学校掀桌子，并斥责他们之中有人假道学，也干一些见不得人的事。Harper Valley P.T.A.这首歌一夕成名，在流行歌曲排行榜得到冠军，在乡村歌曲排行榜则得到第3名，这个纪录直到1981年才由Dolly Parton的9 to 5超越，而且Harper Valley P.T.A发片四周就得到金唱片，她是少数乡村歌星能获主流的Grammy奖提名最佳新人奖和年度唱片的，Jeannie C. Riley后来获得当年Grammy最佳乡村女歌星奖，自1968-1976年Jeannie C. Riley在乡村歌曲排行榜一共有23首畅销曲。Jeannie C. RileyRiley 系1945年出生于德州Stamford，本名Jeanne Carolyn Stephenson，曾经与Mickey Riley结过婚，有一个女儿，但1990年代她因和前夫离婚而导致重度忧郁症，她卧床六年而且暴肥，经家人的悉心照顾下终于康复并再婚，真是可喜可贺。
