刚赞台湾成就应获世界赞赏！美卫生部长与萧美琴通话 谈公卫合作

甫访问台湾回美的美国卫生部长阿札尔今天推文表示，与驻美代表萧美琴通话，双方谈及他的访台行程，也针对下一步强化美台公卫合作进行讨论。
阿札尔（Alex Azar）今天在推文上对台湾在全球公卫领域的领导地位表示赞许，他相信台湾的成就应能在世界舞台获得赞赏。
他透露刚与萧美琴通话，双方谈到他日前的台湾访问行程，触及下阶段台美强化公卫合作议题。

萧美琴随即在推特转推此文并表示，很高兴与阿札尔通话，讨论美台正推动的公卫合作计划。
阿札尔于8月9日至12日率团访问台湾，是自1979年台美断交以来，访台层级最高的美国内阁官员。阿札尔此行拜会总统蔡英文、前往台北宾馆吊唁已故总统李登辉，出席台美医卫合作了解备忘录（MOU）签署仪式，和卫生福利部长陈时中共同担任见证人。
