叙利亚北部阿夫林地区（Afrin）20日发生爆炸事件，一辆载有多名乘客的巴士在政府办公室周边一处公车站爆炸，至少造成2人死亡。目前救难人员已赶抵现场进行后续处理，而当局也呼吁附近居民避开事发现场。

根据土耳其媒体「新曙光报」（Yeni Safak）报导，至少2人死亡，另有12人受伤。另据当地媒体On the Ground News在推特公布的消息，死亡人数可能已达到4人，是一枚放置在公车上的土制炸弹（IED）所引起。
