印度马哈拉什特拉邦（Maharashtra）一间化学工厂今（31日）上午爆炸引发大火，可见浓浓黑烟直窜天际，至少造成8人死亡，数十人受伤。事发当下，至少有100名工人在现场，料伤亡人数将持续上升。另据推特消息，现场有多人受困。
综合《印度斯坦时报》等印度媒体报导，事发于当地上午9时45分左右，初判是因为多个钢瓶（cylinder）爆炸才引发剧烈火势，消防人员已赶到现场救灾，警察、灾害管理部门等单位也已展开救援行动。
