英国物理学家史蒂芬霍金（Stephen Hawking）14日离开人世。综合外媒报导，他的毕生贡献令人称颂，且走过渐冻症难关，求生精神令人为之动容，而他不乏英式幽默且蕴含高智慧的名言，丝毫不比学术成就逊色。
1.「记得仰望星空，别老是俯视脚步，试着为你眼前的事物寻找意义，惊叹这宇宙如何形成。请记着要保持好奇心。无论生命历程有多艰难，你也有机会有所成就，重点是不要放弃。」"Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up."
