有唱片歌星、制作人、电视节目主持人、演员、导演及慈善家等多重身份的名人Cher，七月五日在推特告诉歌迷们她将动个小手术，Cher一年前不慎摔伤脚，这个手术将延后原订年底的巡回演唱。Cher曾经于2005年结束她长达三年且空前成功的告别演唱会，但三年后于拉斯维加复出。Cher 1936年出生于加州El Centro，原在制作人Phil Spector旗下唱和声，1963年开始与大他11岁的Sonny Bono合作灌唱片并一同主持电视节目，最后并嫁给Sonny，但二人于1975年离婚，Sonny后来从政且当选加州选出的美国众议员，1998年元月五日因滑雪意外于任上去世。Cher在Sonny＆Cher合作的同时就以个人的名义推出唱片，且成绩相当好，在历年畅销歌星排行榜得到第58名，在Billboard杂志排行榜的记录里，她是唯一在过去六十年中，每个十年都有冠军歌曲的女歌星，而从1965年她与Sonny合唱的I Got You Babe到1998年的Believe这二首冠军曲之间相隔33年的记录也是无人能及的。Cher于1980年代的电影事业也相当成功，她参加演出的Silkwood「丝克伍事件」得到金球奖最佳女配角，Mask「面具」得到坎城影展女主角奖，The Witches of Eastwick「紫屋魔恋」使他与 Jack Nicholson、Susan Sarandon等巨星同台，而终于因Moonstruck「月晕」那部有趣的电影获得奥斯卡最佳女主角奖，Cher告别演唱会里把她的电影精彩画面剪成专辑与歌迷分享，画面相当温馨。Cher在排行榜上名次最好的歌就是1998年底连续4周的冠军曲Believe，这首歌在全球创下千万张销售记录，还获得Grammy年度最佳舞曲奖，在她的告别演唱会里空中飞人搭配演出的影音效果令人难忘。
