非洲国家阿尔及利亚外海18日凌晨发生规模6.0地震，依据美国地质调查局（USGS）测得数据，震央位在该国东北部地中海沿岸的贝贾亚（Bejaïa）北北东约20公里处，深度仅10公里。

这场地震发生在当地18日凌晨1时4分（台湾时间18日上午8时4分），震感强烈，现已发生至少2起余震，规模介于4.7至5.2之间。

依据推特消息，在规模6.0地震发生后，当地居民惊慌逃出家门，且部分房屋倒塌、屋内家具倾倒破损，甚至有建筑物整片墙面被震垮。目前并未传出有人伤亡。
