夏礼章／披头四名曲推手　西塔琴大师Ravi Shankar去世

对欧美流行歌曲很有影响的印度乐手Ravi Shankar于12月11日在圣地牙哥去世（92岁），Ravi Shankar  1960年代因席塔琴艺在欧美流行歌坛走红，甚至当年二场历史性流行音乐盛会蒙特娄与伍兹塔克音乐节都有他的演出，Ravi Shankar 有二个女儿Anoushka Shankar 与 Norah Jones都在流行音乐圈，其中Norah Jones于2002年获Grammy最佳新人奖，在歌唱与影视界很受欢迎。◄披头四名曲推手，西塔琴大师Ravi Shankar去世，同时他也是西洋爵士天后诺拉琼丝的父亲。　(图／达志影像／美联社提供)Ravi Shankar成名与前披头合唱团团员George Harrison很有关系，1965年经由The Byrds合唱团团员David Crosby介绍，George Harrison认识席塔琴大师Ravi Shankar，并且在披头合唱团的电影Help的配乐里开始用西塔琴，后来还在专辑唱片Rober Soul里的Norwegian Wood（This Bird Has Flown）用西塔琴伴奏，才让西方音乐界开始注意到西塔琴与Ravi Shankar。1968年当披头合唱团还未解散前，George Harrison 还出了一张个人的专辑唱片Wonderful Music，这张以演奏为主的专辑融合印度与西洋音乐，在吉它大行其道的1960年代后期让歌迷们耳目一新 。Norwegian Woo d（This Bird Has Flown）在1966年录制后并未推出单曲，但于滚石杂志500大歌曲榜获得第83名，是一首在摇滚乐历史中很重要的歌。
