约翰．勒卡雷知名著作包括「谍影行动」（Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy）、「冷战谍魂」（The Spy Who Came in from the Cold）等。

法新社报导，约翰．勒卡雷本名康威尔（David Cornwell），写作生涯60载，撰写过25本小说和一本回忆录，全球卖出约6000万册书籍。
