北韩朝鲜劳动党10日庆祝创党75周年，于平壤举行大规模阅兵，在慷慨激昂的致词中，金正恩感谢并赞扬北韩迄今无人传出确诊2019冠状病毒疾病（COVID-19），并将维持零纪录，途中这位东北亚强人情绪激动落泪，在众人面前拿下眼镜抹去泪水。

《纽约邮报》与专门提供有关北韩报导的新闻网站「NK News」报导，北韩最高领导人金正恩出席北韩双十党庆，首先提及今年夏日灾后重建工作，感谢军队付出辛劳，并肯定「伟大的人民」共同坚守2019冠状病毒疾病0确诊的努力，「我祝全世界正在对抗这个邪恶病毒的人，早日康复。」

金正恩在台前哽咽，拿下眼镜拭泪的画面让所有将官、台下的士兵看见。此外，北韩在阅兵大典上公开一系列战术武器，包括新形洲际弹道导弹，射程范围足以触及美国本土。
《美联社》指出，金正恩也提及未来致力将该国核武组织起来，以面对威胁，重申透过核武威慑周边国家，以确保北韩国家安全。
