披头团员George Harrison纪念音乐会上网

2002年的11月29日，一个由披头合唱团团员George Harrison知名的朋友和合作伙伴们所组成的团体，聚集在伦敦皇家亚伯厅做一次特别演出，以纪念一年前去世的披头合唱团吉他手George Harrison。George Harrison纪念演唱会由他的太太Olivia协办，领衔演出的有Eric Clapton、Paul McCartney、Ringo Starr、Tom Petty＆the Heartbreakers、Jeff Lynn、Billy Preston等。
▲George Harrison。(图／取自网路)为了纪念十年前的那个活动，当年全程拍摄的纪录片11月29日已经在George Harrison YouTube官网播出，片中有特别来宾演唱George Harrison于the Beatles时代经典歌曲和他个人的畅销曲，还有他最后在the Traveling Wilburys合唱团时的名曲Handle with Care。The Traveling Wilburys是1980年代晚期的一个超级合唱团，歌并不红但噱头十足，巨星们以兄弟乐队形态出面，即Nelson（George Harrison）、Lucky（Bob Dylan）、Otis（ELO合唱团的Jeff Lynn）、Lefty（Roy Orbison）与Charlie T Junior（Tom Petty）Wilbury，其中Roy Orbison亦于1988年去世。29日当天在披头合唱团发迹的英格兰利物浦的利物浦博物馆也有George Harrison的影片播放，这部片子将是该博物馆新电影厅的第一个活动，这个电影厅明年才将正式开幕。George Harrison 1973年成立the Material World Charitable Foundation慈善基金会，相关活动都由该基金会安排。George Harrison 在the Beatles时代的抒情曲Something， 1969年曾获得第3名，是BMI全美最常播出歌曲榜第17名的歌。
