英国艺术家斯帕罗（Lucy Sparrow）于日前在洛杉矶市中心一家酒店开了「麻雀超市」（Sparrow Mart），里面摆了3.1万种毡合织物，造型外观酷似超市货品，可说是一家货真价实的「假货超市」。「麻雀超市」开放后，吸引大批民众前往扫货。
综合外媒报导，商品全由她和她的「5人团队」手工缝纫而成，他们共花了整整一年的时间，才缝出这3.1万件货品。他们制造的商品外观，皆是仿照实物制成，例如：香烟、饼干袋、番茄酱、花生酱、牙刷、尿布、生鲜肉类、水果、热狗等，还会画上可爱的笑脸，并且通通整齐排列在货架上，羊肉和牛奶也放在开放式冰箱中，超级逼真。
其实这不是斯帕罗首次开店贩售，她第一家店选在英国伦敦东区，在IG上引起热烈讨论；到了2017年，斯帕罗飞越大西洋前往纽约，一共售出9000件商品，销售速度快到让活动提前9天结束。今年斯帕罗选在洛杉矶举办为期一个月的「麻雀超市」，预计在8月31日关闭，如货品卖光就会提早收店，欢迎近期在洛杉矶旅游的观光客去「挖宝」。
