阿金奇奇罹癌病逝…曾遭铁丝捆绑弃肉场 获救截四肢暖笑抚慰人
黄金猎犬奇奇(Chi Chi)是一只特别的治疗犬，牠虽然四肢截肢，却仍用温暖笑容抚慰人心，甚至因此获得美国人道协会颁发的「年度英雄犬奖」。然而，奇奇去年3月罹患癌症，努力了11个月后，于今年2月病逝，让许多人感到相当不舍。（即时接收毛毛军团讯息！快加宠物云Line）
奇奇(Chi Chi)小时候在南韩时，遭人用铁丝捆绑四肢，套上黑色垃圾袋丢弃在狗肉市场外面，当时牠因伤势过重濒临垂死边缘，经动保组织救援后，四肢截肢才捡回一命。事后，命运多舛的牠被住在美国的伊莉莎白(Elizabeth Howell)领养，并换上新的义肢，过着幸福的生活，还鼓励了许多人。
截肢后的奇奇虽然变成了腿短的「柯基」，却丝毫没有影响到牠的生活，不仅跟一般狗狗一样能跑能跳，上下楼梯也难不倒牠。伊莉莎白从奇奇坚韧的生命力中，看到了能够温暖人心的神奇力量，于是将牠送到狗狗学校学习，最后顺利取得证照，成为「治疗犬」。
当上治疗犬的奇奇会定期拜访老人院、学校，安慰那些曾和牠一样处在生命低潮的患者与伤者。伊莉莎白表示，曾有一位被酒驾司机撞断腿的女士，看到奇奇的第一眼就流下眼泪，似乎是能理解并接收牠的温暖。（ETtoday宠物云有IG了，快按追踪）
We had record rain this week, so it’s been very wet outside. Today, it was finally dry enough for me to take some pictures with my trophies and the medal I received at the Hero Dog Awards. I received a medal and a beautiful glass trophy for being the 2018 Hero Therapy Dog. I received a wood trophy with a hero dog for being the 2018 American Hero Dog. I am so grateful for all of your love and support and for everyone who voted, shared and encouraged their friends and family to vote for me. 有着抚慰人心力量的奇奇于2018年被选为「年度英雄犬」。美国人道协会(American Humane)指出，这个奖项颁发给奇奇，是因为牠即使曾被人类伤害，却仍然积极乐观地活下去，甚至成为治疗犬，将鼓励了许多人。
令人难过的是，奇奇去年3月在鼻腔内长了东西，就医后确诊为恶性肿瘤。罹患癌症的奇奇坚强地撑过了多次的放射治疗，病情一度好转，但最终仍不敌病魔，于2月5日离开人世。
伊莉莎白在IG上分享这个消息并写道，「奇奇被爱包围着，安详地离开了，我们会永远想念牠。」「我们对牠的爱超过言语可以形容，牠改变了我们的生命，也带给世界上许多人正面影响，我们相信牠的精神会继续留存下去。」「我们全家的心都碎了，但我知道我们总有一天会在天堂重聚。」
Today is the day we’ve been dreading. Chi Chi passed away peacefully and surrounded by love. She was not in pain and did not suffer. Today she is complete in Heaven and we will miss her forever. We love her more than words can express. She changed our lives and positively impacted many people all over the world. We believe she will continue to inspire people for a long time to come. We are grateful for every day we had with her and know that 100 years with her wouldn’t have been enough. One day we will be reunited with her in Heaven.
