美新政策留学生「线上上课」无法获签证 参议员痛批：白宫残酷无止境

美国移民及海关执法局（U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement）在今（7）日宣布，若国际生在秋季仅「线上上课」，将会无法获得签证，而已在美国的学生也会被迫离境。这项最新发布的政策在留学圈中造成极大的不安，也引发各界批评。
参议员伊丽莎白·沃伦（Elizabeth Warren）对这项决定强烈关注，表示此举动「伤害学生」，并称其为「仇外心理」。她在Twitter上写到：「在这全球疫情大流行期间，只因为他们的大学实施远距授课以确保社交距离，就要把留学生都赶出美国实在是在伤害学生。此举动毫无意义、残酷、且仇外。ICE必须马上废除这项政策。」

原本欲代表民主党参选2020总统大选的参议员伯尼·桑德斯（Bernie Sanders）也在Twitter上表示：「白宫的残酷真的毫无止境。国际学生现在正面临2种选择：冒着生命危险去上面授课或被驱逐出境。我们必须反抗川普的偏执。我们必须确保所有学生的安全。」
