转机必备英文单字＊connecting flight 转接班机Connect 就是「连接」的意思，所以 connecting flight 就是转接班机。
如果你不小心错过转接班机的话，就可以说：I missed my connecting flight.（我错过转接班机了。）
＊alternate / alternative flight 替代航班Alternate 和 alternative 当形容词时具有「替代的」意思，所以航空公司为旅客安排的「替代航班」的英文就是 alternate / alternative flight。

B: Since the flight was delayed, we will arrive at Hong Kong International Airport around 9:50 p.m.（由于班机延误的关系，大约是晚上九点五十分抵达香港国际机场。）
A: I have a connecting flight to Italy at 10 p.m. I don’t think I’ll be able to catch the flight. Could you arrange an alternate flight?（我有一班晚上十点飞往义大利的转机。我想我是赶不上那班飞机了。可以请你安排替代航班吗？）
B: Sure. Please leave your connecting flight number on this piece of paper. We'll try to arrange an alternate flight for you.（当然可以。麻烦您在这张纸上留下您的转乘班机号码。我们会试着为您安排替代航班。）
