从不上超市买肉！年轻辣妈只靠打猎找肉吃：一枪毙命是最人道的

「当你直接干净俐落地朝动物心脏射击，牠永远都不会知道你在哪里，没有受到惊吓和伤害，也没有被运送至屠宰场。」来自英国约克郡（Yorkshire）的年轻辣妈瑞秋（Rachel Carrie）表示从不上超市买肉，家人一直以来都是吃她打猎得来的肉类，过去一年就开枪猎了4只鹿、40只鸭子、80只野鸡和125只鸽子。
据《镜报》报导，35岁的瑞秋表示自己是一位动物爱好者，并认为素食主义者应该将她视为盟友，「我们不是敌人，我们有共同点」，素食主义者可能会无意中导致野生动物的流离失所或是杀戮，因为他们会要求将野生动物的栖息地改为种植农作物，动物也会被保护农田的农夫杀死。她也常在IG上分享处理野味的照片与影片，或是打猎的帅气模样。

其实瑞秋在7至12岁时是一名素食主义者，但在爸爸带她去野外猎兔后彻底改观，认为狩猎是最符合道德的一个选择，因为牠们并没有被运送至几公里远的屠宰场。人们经常问她对于扣下板机的那一刻有什么想法，她表示，「当我确定能够准确、快速的了结牠们的生命，而动物没有受到影响，这就是我的义务与责任。」
瑞秋也透露，她的狩猎行动都是经过农民和土地所有者的同意。家里的肉类都是靠她打猎得来，根本不去超市的肉柜买肉，这也让家里扔掉的食物数量减少，「当你花一整天的时间在找寻猎物时，最不想做的事情就是浪费食物。」

I can’t ignore it anymore and I’ve been guilty of forgetting to grab some pheasant out of the freezer and grabbing a pack of chicken from the supermarket, it just doesn’t taste the same and I just can’t and won’t support cruelty.
