台湾连锁餐饮品牌鼎泰丰在英国伦敦柯芬园（Covent Garden）开幕新分店，吸引大批人潮排队，据《彭博》报导，由于不提供预约，尖峰时段最多得排4至5小时才能入座。该报记者在非尖峰时段、周四下午4时30分候位，等了数分钟就能吃到招牌小笼包和猪肉馅蒸饺。他形容，「外皮轻如羽毛，内馅汤汁风味浓厚。」

报导指出，伦敦的鼎泰丰是该品牌在欧洲的第一家分店所在地，由台湾鼎泰丰和新加坡的餐饮企业「面包新语」（BreadTalk）合资。面包新语创办人郭明忠表示，英国有开设20家分店的潜能。鼎泰丰5日为这家分店举行开幕仪式，前英国外相强生（Boris Johnson）到场体验自制招牌的18褶小笼包。
这间位于柯芬园的分店是地上一层、地下一层的两层结构，可容纳约250名顾客，也设置了透明橱窗式厨房。据Eater London 报导，鼎泰丰去年就计划在伦敦托登罕宫路（Tottenham Court Road）上的中间点大楼（Centre Point）开设另一家分店。这栋34层楼的大楼将规划新的餐饮空间，鼎泰丰可能会成为其中一个商家，实际开幕的日期还未公开。
